When Churchill said;

“If you’re under thirty and a conservative, you have no heart.  If you’re over thirty and a liberal, you have no brain.”

He was half right.  Adults who still believe in liberalism are dysfunctional thinkers who believe ideologies proven to fail can succeed under the right leadership.  We have now had five years of Obama leading the country down the path to socialism and the economy, as expected, is suffering for it.

Following Obama down the road to Hell

Young people who are foolish enough to follow Democrats do so because they do not understand how socialist policies fail at every level, do not understand how government works, and do not understand that they are voting for their own destruction when they elect Democrats.  Obama popped on the scene with grandiose speeches promising the sun, the moon, and the stars, knowing full well he could not deliver.  His high rhetoric of hope and change, transforming America into his vision of a better place gave no indication of how and what he intended to do.  But it sure sounded good!

The fact is being a conservative youth is not an indication a person has no heart, but proof that they possess maturity far beyond their years.  Liberals say they have more heart than conservatives, yet their solution to a hungry man is to give him a fish so he eats for a day, while it takes a conservative to teach him to fish so he eats for a lifetime.  Conservatism isn’t about not caring about people, but about giving people the tools and help they need to be contributing members of society, whereas liberals are happy to extend unemployment benefits for years and then ask for more in taxes.

Obama laments his lack of money to buy whatever he wants.  After going into massive debt increasing federal spending by 20% during a recession, spending well over $1 trillion more than the government takes in every year, he cried over a 2% cut in the sequester.  Here’s a clue for the clueless; whatever government takes in taxes is taken OUT of the economy.  Where are the jobs?  The answer is; in Obama’s pocket.

America’s young have shown an amazing degree of gullibility these past several years.  First in believing the economy was bad under President Bush and blaming him for the recession at the end of his second term after they voted to give Democrats control of Congress; second in not believing Obama and the Democrat Congress have anything to do with the economy, but accepting their blaming Republicans; and third, in not learning from their mistake and re-electing them.

Youngsters are down in the dumps, or more accurately, in the gully with the bull.  Because they’ve listened to liberal professors talk about how fair socialism is and didn’t learn anything about history, they are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past.  Obama and his buddies are living the high life at their expense and they are showing no signs of waking up to that fact.
