[The Republican Party platform has always been about low taxes allowing entrepreneurs to progress to create jobs by which hard working Americans could prosper. Since Democrats took control of the government in the 1930s they have sought to regain Congress and the White House by emulating the Democrats’ pandering and empty promises of providing wealth for the people.]
In their desperation to win elections during the Democrat century, some Republicans in Washington decided to emulate them and have forgotten their roots and the principles by which they should operate. The patriots of the TEA Party Movement are calling for a return to the ideology of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Reagan. Ronald Reagan was the only man to run on those principles in the last century, while the Republican Establishment has been striving to be Democrats-lite working with Democrats rather than against them.
If voters want everyone to work together why do we have two parties?
Democrats win by pandering to deadbeats and the hearts of the greedy people who envy the wealth those who work hardest and smartest acquire. They win by promising to be their thieves – stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. The problem is that they just give the poor a pittance while gathering the wealth to themselves. This is why Washington, D.C. has replaced all industrial regions as the richest in the country.
Dave Brat’s “controversial” platform
Republicans gave House Majority Leader Eric Cantor over five million dollars to run his campaign and he lost to a TEA Party candidate who only had $200,000. As in the past, expect the Republican Establishment will leave Dave Brat out in the cold in the hope that he will lose to a Democrat. The last thing people like Republican Speaker Boehner and Mr. Obama want is for the people to be in charge of government rather than themselves where they can decide how to spend taxpayer dollars.
Dave Brat was selected in Virginia District 7 precisely because he voiced the basic tenets of Republicanism. The TEA Party is not a political party like the DNC and RNC, but a call to Republicans to stop abandoning the ideals and policies of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Reagan and fight to restore them. America is exceptional because of the liberty people gave themselves, and Obama’s desire to fundamentally transform the nation into one in which government gives people the rights that it chooses is a betrayal of the American Way.
Trickle down doesn’t work and the poor get poorer while the rich get richer
